For Single Adults: A weekend of food, fellowship, & fun!
Lutherans Singles Association is holding their biennial Conference at Concordia University – St. Paul, MN June 25-28, 2009. . The theme this time is: “Holy Spirit, Fuel the Flame” and the keynote speakers are Rev. Terry Dittmer and Dr. Micah Parker. Cost is $375 for the entire conference (includes rooms, lunch & dinner each day, service project, speakers, and entertainment). Come and meet single adults from all over the country. Singles conference set for this Summer

The Lutheran Singles Association (LSA) will hold its biennial conference June 25-28, 2009 at Concordia University St. Paul, MN.  The conference, with the theme of “Holy Spirit, Fuel the Flame” is open to any single adult or to anyone who is interested in singles ministry.On the program for the conference are Bible studies & Keynote Addresses led by Rev. Dr. Terry Dittmer and Dr. Micah Parker.  

Rev. Terry Dittmer is Director of Youth Ministry and responsible for administering the synodical youth organization, Lutheran Youth Fellowship. Terry is a published author, and he is the composer of many songs and hymns, several written especially for the synodical Youth Gatherings. A collection of his songs was published under the title, "Brothers and Sisters in Christ."

Dr. Micah Parker recently moved to Houston, Texas, where he is now the Headmaster at Lutheran South Academy. Dr. Parker is a published author on peer motivation and leadership in athletics. In 1998 he founded Trustguy Ministries and has become a sought-after speaker. 

The agenda also features 6 workshops (Creation Science, Single Group Training, Ideas for Singles Events, Single Traveler, Successful Single Life, Finances for Singles); Sunday worship; service projects (Making Quilts for Lutheran World Relief and Marking Bibles for Prison Ministries); LSA business sessions; and open forums on widows/widowers, divorced singles, and never-married singles.
 
A registration fee of $375 covers the conference program, meals each day, housing in the
New Residence Life Center and entertainment. Registration Deadline is May 22nd.  Space is filling up, so get your reservation in early.
